The Holosun 507c-x2 is perfect for beginners who want a quality optic but are not sure if they’re ready for committing $500+ dollars yet. This specific model offers all of the typical functions of any Holosun with a fraction of the price. It offers an RMR type footprint which is the most common footprint in the industry so you definitely wont have to worry about compatibility.

2. HOLOSUN 407K-X2

With the increase in Micro Compact handguns becoming optics ready, the industry set a standard for them all to have a Shield RMSC type footprint. The 407k Series of red dots offer a smaller, light weight option to fit the most popular Micro Compacts whether with a direct mount or with an adapter plate. These small micro red dots offer a smaller footprint and a slightly smaller window to allow for a comfortable and affordable option for your EDC. It also features a larger 6MOA dot to allow for faster acquisition.

3. HOLOSUN EPS CARRY MRS

Like the 407k, the EPS Carry is made with the Shield RMSC foot print making it compatible with practically every optics ready Micro Compact handgun on the market. The main advantage to the EPS Carry is that it is a completely enclosed system. If you have ever concealed carried a handgun with an optic, then you should know about belly button lint. It clutters up your open emitter optics and obstructs the reticle. The EPS Carry completely fixes that with it being IPX8 Waterproof.

My personal favorite Holosun by far is the 508t. This rugged Titanium bodied red dot is the tougher upgraded version of the 507c but a more squared appearance and blacked out lettering. It features everything that the 507c offers but is made with stronger materials for durability.

Like the 508t, the Holosun 509t is made from a titanium body offering durability and strength. Unlike the 508t, the Holosun 509t is a fully enclosed optic offering a IP67 waterproof rating, so definitely no belly button lint. This also means that this optic is ready to go, rain or shine, making this one of the most durable Holosuns on the market. You’ll notice that this one has a different mounting system. Thats because it has its own version of the picatinny rail that can adapt to an RMR type footprint. Its a super unique design but equally as durable.
